Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
One baby was strapped on my back, while one crawled inside the playpen. I spent 12 hours days, for months, sanding and taking wallpaper off, all and with just one child. Ha! All was beginning to fall into place, but it was not quite done. To complete this task I had planned to shell out a substantial amount of time and money shopping for my dream home. In order to stay within my budget, I began attending estate sales with three sons to find jewels in the rough. We had a weekly schedule that consisted of spending Thursday through Saturday walking around estate and garage sales, purchasing new and old things. I then spent the remainder of the week working on painting and sanding the driveway. What I saw looked something similar to... This is when my desire to repair furniture started. It didn't matter if our house had already been equipped. I rented a booth in the market at my local location and sold pieces there. I was able to outgrow the area because I had numerous pieces I could use. The house became a venue that I hosted open houses. Up to 1,000 people could view the items on the first floor, and then purchase the items. Growing Days was founded in my house. As my business flourished as did our family. The balance between work and family was crucial for me. I wished to be a mom and also a successful business owner. Growing Days just fit. The year was 2013, and my lovely daughter Nora was born. She is our fourth baby. My business was going well but I was in need of a break. I decided to quit building my old furniture for a while and stay home with the children. This was just what I was looking for. After a few minutes I began to hear my phone to ring. I began receiving requests from people requesting to help with their home improvement as well as interior design. They had mainly been to my home during open houses to purchase furniture. The time flew by before I managed a large-scale business for home improvement. It began with taking clients in a manner that I was comfortable with. It would have probably amused me if I had told you that this would become the basis of an DIY Network tv series. Actually I still kind of laugh when I think about the idea.
