Laura Linney has been hailed as one of America's most acclaimed actors. She is known for playing strong characters but also fragile. In the summer, while working with her father's business Laura Linney fell in love with the theatre. After that she attended Brown University she studied acting and also at Juilliard School, after which, her career took off. After just two short months after graduating the actress began her Broadway career. Following that, she made her debut in TV and film. In the years since, she's performed in many films and stage and television productions. In her long career, she's won many awards, which comprise 2 Golden Globe Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards as well as three Academy Award nominations and five Tony Award nominations. Yet, despite the array of awards, theatre has remained her passion first and foremost. She has continued to appear both on stage and screen.
