Jenna Fischer has become best recognized for her role as Pam Beesly, the character she portrayed on The Office. In the course of playing this part, Jenna was honored with two SAG Awards in Outstanding Ensemble Comedy as well as an Emmy Award for the Best Supporting Actress.
Her birthplace was Fort Wayne, Indiana, but was raised mostly in St. Louis, Missouri. Jenna was awed by her mother, Anne, perform in performances at church while she was younger and was able to instill a love of performing and theater.
Fischer is an actress with theatre training. Off-Broadway's production of Reasons to Be Happy was directed and written by Neil LaBute, with Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb and Fred Weller. In the following play, she was a part of Steve Martin's Meteor Shower - an absurdist play starring Greg Germann with Josh Stamberg - for the Old Globe Theatre's world premiere.

She is also co-author of Office BFF's Tales of The Office The Story of Two Best Friends there. This autobiography is about their friendship and the work they did on The Office.
